For the past two years I've gone with a rustic theme which I LOVE. Here's some shots of the family room and dining room decorations.


I really loved how the table came together this year. Mostly everything came from Hobby Lobby except the chargers, which I found at Micheals. The wire you see in the greenery are warm lights that lit the room at night.


For me it was important to include levels so that it made your eyes wander and look at each element. The multiple colors gave it great dimension and the the gold made it feel warm. Plus, I don't like things to matchy anyway. It takes away from the character.
